Refurbishing The Model 610 Complimiter
 (Capacitor Replacement)
 

Spectra Sonics offers a Model 610 refurbishing program. Typically, specific capacitors fail over time. The program includes replacement of all capacitors falling under this category. In addition, the threshold and overload lamps are replaced with L.E.D. type indicators. Finally, the unit is recalibrated and tested to comply with factory specifications.


The refurbishing program does not include repair or cover the replacement of other components and, or, modules. A seperate itemized quotation will be submitted by Spectra Sonics under such cases. 


It is recommended that the Model 101 audio amplifier, Model 601 compressor/limiter and Model 603A gain reduction meter amplifier plug-in modules be repaired only at the factory due to precise and critical parameter requirements of the components utilized. Arbitrary insertion of standard components can cause catastrophic failure of the plug-in modules and should not be attempted. It is for this reason that the plug-in module schematics are not provided. Repaired products are tested to original operating specifications and returned as soon as possible.
