General

The Model 610SI stereophonic accessory is used to provide stereophonic capability when using two Model 610 Complimiters.

The Model 610SI couples the attack and release action of the limiting and compression functions of the two Model 610 Complimiters. The input (compression/limiting) and slope control may be set independently for the desired mode of operation for each unit; however, the attack time and the release time are determined by the Model 610 which has the fastest time setting. This common function is essential to maintain the proper stereophonic perspective.


Termination

The Model 610SI accessory is connected to the two Model 610's in series. The terminal connection on the back of the Model 610 is identified by (EXT). The case of the Model 610SI must be grounded to the nearest system ground. If desired, the Model 610SI may be switched in or out of the circuit by installing a simple switch in series on one lead to the Model 610SI accessory.
